12th Annual Cape Fear Disabled Sportsman's Tournament
The Cape Fear Disabled Sportsman's Tournament 12th Annual Tournament will proudly be held on friday, May 14th, 2010 at the Kure Beach Fishing Pier from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. There will be an awards ceremony held shortly afterward.
Through donations and volunteers this tournament is in its 12th year! Support from club members and Sponsors has made it possible to host over 340 participants, and along with their attendants and parents, last year's tournament welcomed over 500 people!! Contestants and Attendees were treated to breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, a tournament T-Shirt and all the necessary fishing equipment. At the end of a great day of fishing many contestants were awarded prizes and all contestants were given goody bags to take home, along with great memories!
In addition, this year we will hold the drawing for the Got-em-on Fishing Shack Playhouse raffle on the day of the tournament. The playhouse was built donated by Alan Votta Builders, and can be seen in Kure Beach at the corner of Fort Fisher Blvd and K Ave. Tickets are avaliable ($5 each) at the Kure Beach Pier, or by calling Dawson Freuler.
